Fueling Curiosity, Connection, and Math Excellence

Building a statewide ecosystem where problem-solving skills flourish.

The Indiana Math Enrichment Initiative (IMEI) empowers students and teachers across the state to discover the power of math. By providing financial and organizational support to local competitions, IMEI creates a collaborative ecosystem where minds grow, problem-solving skills flourish, and communities connect through learning, social engagement, and volunteerism.

Shaping Indiana's Next Generation of Problem Solvers

Providing opportunities and motivation for young minds to engage deeply with mathematics.

Problem solvers don't just find answers—they change the world. By pairing mathematical tools with creative intuition, students learn to navigate complex, real-world challenges. As technology continues to reshape our lives, Indiana Math Enrichment Initiatiavie offers a fertile ground for Indiana students to develop critical-thinking skills that will serve them for a lifetime.

More Than Math: A Place to Belong

Connecting curious minds across Indiana through shared enthusiasm and friendly competition.

Ask alumni what they value most about math competitions, and they won't just list formulas—they’ll talk about the community they formed. A common refrain from parents after competitions is how deeply meaningful it is when their child finds peers who share their excitement. At the Indiana Math Enrichment Initiative, we are dedicated to building environments statewide where every young person who loves math can find their community.
